Psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) is emerging as a transformative approach in mental health care, offering profound benefits for therapy practices. In a Phase 2 clinical trial, 71% of participants receiving psilocybin-assisted therapy experienced a positive clinical response. Notably, 54% achieved complete remission of their depressive symptoms (NEJM, 2022). By integrating substances like psilocybin, MDMA, and Ketamine into therapeutic settings, PAT facilitates deep emotional processing, enhances neuroplasticity, and promotes lasting behavioral change. This method is particularly effective for individuals with treatment-resistant conditions such as PTSD, depression, and addiction . Research indicates that PAT can lead to rapid and enduring improvements in mental health, often surpassing the efficacy of traditional therapies. Furthermore, the therapeutic alliance between clinician and client is a critical factor in the success of PAT, with stronger relationships correlating with better outcomes.

Diana was accepted into the SoundMind Institute's Psychedelic Assisted Therapeutic Facilitator Training in the 2023-2024 cohort. She completed the year long intensive study, as well as the experiential training in Jamaica in May 2024. Ketamine is currently legal in NC, so she can provide you with a referral locally, provide prep sessions, and integration services post treatment services. Diana is also able to act as a liaison if you are interested in attending a retreat in Oregon, Colorado, or Jamaica. She is also interested in pursuing advocacy and policy change in the state of NC.

These sessions are not covered by insurance and will come at an out of pocket cost to you. I am happy to speak with you about PAT, answer any questions, and get you started in an ethical, professional path towards health.
